You need to answer someone's question and quit directing people to other
newsgroups! I would tell you to start your own thread!

On the contrary, my friend, by directing posters to a more appropriate
newsgroup we increase the chances of their question being seen by
someone with knowledge of the posters's question.

People with knowledge in a specific subject area are more likely to
follow newsgroups in that area.
