internet explorer 5.0 in NT4 buid 1381 sp 6

Dear Sirs,
I keep using NT4 due to software applications requirements and everything
runs well except my internet explorer (5.0). As I have my C: partition very
occupied with application software, perhaps I did something wrong to get
more disk space, in a way that I can't access to any internet site without a
"Runtime Error - Object doesn't support this property or method". My intranet
works well but my internet gives the above error. My question is: can I
repair my internet explorer software without disrupting all the other
software I have installed before ? (ie, without affecting the register ?)

That particular symptom is often caused by installing incompatible third-party programs.

Yes. That version of IE has a repair tool
but it is unlikely to help with your symptom.

FYI using the repair tool involves a mass rewrite of various registry values. ; }
