Explorer not generating..

When i hit the Explorer button all it does is pull up the Internet Options
Screen??
I am running off of IE7 and everything is connected.

can youhelp?

Assuming that by this is an attempt to describe using an IE shortcut on the Destktop...

Right-click on the icon and list the menu items you see and note which one is bolded.
My guess is that you will see at least: Open... (not bolded) Properties (bolded)
That would explain your symptom.

BTW you should be glad. Other people with this problem have Create Shortcut bolded,
so for them left clicking on the icon just creates a new icon on the Desktop.
You should admit that would be a messier symptom than yours. <eg>
