websites not loading

From early last week on, websites we visit often suddenly not loading. They
only load after we press Refresh several times. But even then, some
pictures won't load.

Any insight to what might be going on? Is it a corrupted Windows Update?
Any suggested troubleshooting steps?

We use IE7 on XP. Thanks.

This is often caused by corruption or excessive cache levels in Temporary
Internet Files. Empty the browser cache(delete temporary Internet files)
then close and restart the browser. Also, consider deleting cookies if this
doesn't fix the problem.
