Open new Window without old content?
Looking at IE8 beta, considering to switch back from Firefox. One thing
always annoyed me in any version of IE. Open a new Windows always loads the
last page again. Could this be turned off?

And I like to have the cursor in the address bar after opening a new
windows, so I can immediately start typing. Is this possible?

TIA

Arne

Re: Open new Window without old content?
I would strongly recommend switching back to Firefox, since IE 8 is
still a beta.

I would even suggest that you wait to upgrade your OS for a few weeks or
months after IE 8 has been released, to let the early adopters vet the
new software.

Then, when the time comes, carefully prepare for the upgrade (e.g., read
the release notes, search the web for install tips, backup) and do the
deed. If your OS was in good shape before the upgrade you will have a
trouble free install.
