Block a site?
I have IE 7. I would like to set up the browser so it will not allow you to
go to certain sites. Can this be done?

I tried setting something up as a RESTRICTED SITE but it still allows me to
get there. So that didn't work.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

In your Hosts file (No extension) enter this line

127.0.0.1 <name.of.site>

like this, to keep people from going to ebay:

127.0.0.1 ebay.com

Always state your full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; Vista SP1) when
posting to this newsgroup, please.

Re: Block a site?
That's your own machine, where IE will not find the site.
