Please MAke IE8 compatible with XP SP3- uninstalling
I have Windows XP SP3, I installed IE8 beta 2 to test with critical
applications and there is not uninstall listed in Add Remove Programs.
I found a similiar MS KB article 950719.
Please correct this issue for future releases.

Thanks, Joe

[Forwarded to IE Beta newsgroup via crosspost; Follow-up set to IE Beta

[Yes, I understand that the link you may have used probably brought you to
IE General newsgroup. We're trying to get that fixed.]

Assuming you'd installed IE8 Beta 1 before you installed WinXP SP3 and then
upgraded to IE8 Beta 2, there's nothing to be corrected. See
http://blogs.msdn.com/ie/archive/200...-8-beta-2.aspx
and the Known Issues section of the Release Notes
(http://support.microsoft.com/kb/949787).
