IE8 beta 2 on win xp sp2, when downloading pdf files and doc files from
websites, the IE8B2 becomes non responsive using 120MB of memory and stays
put. When I terminate the program it restarts the window and asks if I want
to return to the page and the cycle continues if I say yes.... any ideas why?

The MS IE8 Help and support pages point you to the wrong newsgroup - (it's
