File Download Security Warning - file name dots replaced with hyph
Whenever I type the domain www.skingenesis.co.uk into the address bar (IE7)
on my laptop I get a 'File Download Security Warning' asking if I want to
save the file or find a program to open it. The details shown are:

Name: skingenesis_co_uk
Type: Unknown file type , 8.28kB
From: www.skingenesis.co.uk

and of course I'm unable to get any further. As this is my business home
page it's very inconvenient that I can't access it! I've tried deleting
history, form data etc.,

This doesn't happen for any other URLs I type in to the address bar. They
all work fine. I only have this problem with www.skingenesis.co.uk.

My thanks to anyone who responds.

I can't guess what version of Internet Explorer you have or what version
of Windows you're using. I have no problem reaching that URL with IE 7
on Windows XP SP 3.

This is frequently caused by an incompatible browser add-on. The
troubleshooting steps described below will help you to diagnose and fix
the problem:

How to Optimize or Reset Internet Explorer 7

(Give the Guided Help a try.)

Problems with Internet Explorer can also be caused by the presence of
viruses or other malicious software.
