internet explorer proxy and messenger live proxy problem

hi

in the past , i configured a proxy on i.e , and now i am without a proxy
(empty i.e proxy fields)

but at messenger proxy config the proxy still appear , and i cant remove it
(it say edit the i.e proxy above the grayed out proxy fields)

so i cant connect to msn , because the proxy isnt alive anymore
and also i dont want to use a proxy in msn

i tried to reinstall msn , didnt help
how can i fix it please
