Re: Minimized web pages

I cannot get around this exact issue and it is very annoying. I have chosen
to not use tabs in IE and adjusted the IE setting accordingly. The way I
want it to work is:

1) minimize an already open IE window displaying a web page (i.e. msdn.com)
2) open an email sent from our internal app that uses completely safe
hyperlinks
3) click on hyperlink in email to open new browser window
4) close the new browser window
5) I should see my email

But the old IE window with msdn.com is now being displayed over the email so
I have to minmize that again.

How can I make it work the way I want? Am I missing an option somewhere?
I have modified these possibly related settings but none seem to change this
particular situation:

Reuse windows for launching shortcuts: (NOT CHECKED)
Use most recent order when switching tabs with Ctrl-Tab (NOT CHECKED)
From the Taskbar: Group similar taskbar buttons (NOT CHECKED)

Windows Vista Ultimate
IE 7.0.6000.16681
MS Office Outlook 2003 (11.6568.6568) SP2

Has anyone gotten around this?
