Installing unknown add-on.

Hi,

I'm trying to install an add-on which isn't recognized by Windows, and so
it is blocked every time. I know it is from a reliable source. The message I
get on-screen is that it is a unknown publisher, and basically tells me that
it won't allow it. Period. I don't even get a choice to run it or not. I've
treid to drop the firewall, and have messed with the security settings, but
to no avail. Does anyone know how to resolve this?
