redirect ie6 downloads

I am looking for a way to redirect my IE6 download destination in my
home computer. It always downloads into my documents and settings
and I want it to go to a file folder on a different drive, so if I
get a download with a virus it wont infect my C drive where windows
is.

Is there any way to do this?

An infected download can find your system drive no matter the download
destination.

Don't open (i.e., double-click on) it until you have scanned it with
your security software.

If a fraudulent window opens on your monitor, don't dismiss it by
clicking on the red 'X'. Instead, use Task Manager.

Normally IE remembers the last destination and uses that as its default.

Do not reply with email

When you click to SAVE it, and a window comes up, you have the choice of
where to save.
It will have your DOCs and settings; just browse through there, until you
find where you want to put it>Selct that place(one click)>then click OPEN at
the bottom of the same window> then click SAVE.
