IE7 crashes for certain sites and programs

Hello. I need help with this problem. I've had this Vista Home Premium 32
bit computer for over a year now and still this problem exists. When I access
certain websites IE will either stop working or restart itself. It does this
with my Windows Media player too. With the player, I can just re open the
program and it's fine. My XP computer doesn't have this problem. All my
graphics drivers are up to date and yet Windows keeps saying the solution was
found (saying it's my drivers). But not the case at all. This is the report

Are you running Vista or Vista SP1 now?

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed? What
anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall
(if any)?

Run a /thorough/ check for hijackware, including posting your hijackthis log
to an appropriate forum.

When all else fails, HijackThis v2.0.2
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.exe) is the preferred tool to use (in
conjuction with some other utilities). HijackThis will NOT fix anything on
its own, but it will help you to both identify and remove any
hijackware/spyware with assistance from an expert. **Post your log to

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
