Gmail screen name disappears

I had added a screen name on the Gmail log-in screen. It was remembered on
the screen so that when I typed part of its name in the log-in box, the
entire screen name appeared in a drop-down screen. However, I clicked alt+del
on this screen name in the drop-down list. I tried to re-add it onto the
list, but it will no longer get remembered. How do you re-add a screen name
onto the Gmail drop-down list after you've deleted it initially?
