IE7 crashing with Word

When I navigate to a site that has an application form and job
description IE crashes when I try to open the doc.

This happens on a number of sites.

Can anyone suggest a solution.

Can you provide some addresses of the sites you are experiencing this on?

Does this occur if you run IE7 in no-Addons mode? Start>Accessories>System
Tools>Internet Explorer (no Addons).

What happens if you right click on the Job Application link and select 'Save
Target As...'?

Evidently, I am running without addons

Would it even work in No Add-ons mode? ; )

FWIW I think this should probably be cross-posted to a Word NG.
However, there is so little detail and so little co-operation here
that I wouldn't bother.
