Activate drop down Address Bar
I'm one of those people who like to use the drop down Address Bar in
Internet Explorer, but for some reason each time I logoff, the previous
history is lost and it's a fresh start next time.

I have History set to 20 days, Auto-complete is on - and I can find no other
setting that would appear appropriate. It works OK on my laptop and I've
compared all settings - both using Vista and IE7.

I can find how to delete entries from Regedit and
My Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Inte rnet Explorer\TypedURLs
but nothing to make it start.

Any advice appreciated.

Re: Activate drop down Address Bar
Hi Stan,

Tools>Internet Options - Content Tab, Autocomplete section, Settings button,
check "Use AutoComplete for Web Addresses"

Regards.
