Que signifient les terminaisons des noms de polices comme par exemple "Comic
sans MS ? Un site où l'on peut trouver des explications ?

Une bonne partie de la réponse est donnée ici:

Comic est le nom de la police.

"sans" est un raccourci pour "sans serif" qui dans la nomenclature
anglo-saxonne veut dire police sans empâtement, "serif" désignant les
polices à empâtement comme Time New Roman par opposition aux polices
"baton" comme Arial.

MS veut dire Microsoft.
