Instalar Linuz con la Máquina Virtual
¿con la Maquina Virtual de Microsoft se puede instalar un sistema operativo
Linux, concretamente SUSE, o tiene que ser un Windows a la fuerza?

En Virtual PC (No se si te refieres a este programa o a Virtual Sever) se pueden instalar muchos sistemas operativos aparte de los de Microsoft, puedes ver una lista bastante completa en este sitio.
Que funciona o no en VirtualPC
