problem beim instalieren von call of duty 4...
habe versucht call of duty 4 zu instalieren... als ich directx instalieren
sollte hat er mir nen internen systemfehler angezeigt... welcher zu sehen in
den dateien dxerror.log und dirctx.log zu finden sind... kann damit nichts
anfangen könnt ihr mir helfen??? bitte

Bei mir läuft COD 4 unter Vista 32 Bit ohne Probleme.
Es kam jedoch bei der Installation eine Meldung, daß eine DirectX 9 Datei
installiert werden muß. Grund ist wohl, daß DX 9 nicht in DX 10 enthalten
ist.

Falsch, DX9 ist in DX10 enthalten und normalerweise auch kompatibel.
Trotzdem fehlen unter VISTA einige Dateien die vor allem bei älteren
Spielen für Problemen sorgen.
Ronny soll besser mal bei MS nach der neuesten Version von November/07
schauen und diese runterladen und installieren.

Falsch. Genau anders herum ist es.

Wieder Falsch. Neuere Spiele (wie COD4) benötigen ein DX9 update,
weil sie eben nicht kompatibel sind. Wären sie kompatibel, würde es
dafür DX10 updates geben, wie zu DX6,7,8,9 Zeiten.

Also bei mir läuft COD4 problemlos.Instaliere das Spiel nochmals erneut und
bestätige dann mit "ja" bei der DX Instalation.
