leider scheint es immernoch nicht zu klappen.
ich hab dokumentiert, wie ich vorgegangen bin. vielleicht übersehe ich ja was.
also status quo ist, dass mir das update
Sicherheitsupdate für Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2
(KB936181)
wiederholt angeboten wird, obwohl noch auskunft der update-funktion das
update bereits mehrfach erfolgreich installiert wurde.
was ich jetzt probiert habe:
1.
- ich hab die datei %SystemRoot%\System32\msxml4.dll unbenannt (in *.old)
- ich hab mir das update kb936181 heruntergeladen und auf meiner platte
gespeichert
- ich hab das update kb936181 "als administrator" ausgeführt
- ich hab in der abfrage den button "repair" gewählt
- die installation lief (zumindest hab ich keine fehlermeldung bekommen),
ich sollte noch mit klick auf "finish" beenden
- rechner neu gestartet
- updateverlauf: update kb936181 wurde erfolgreich installiert
- lt. hilfeseite sollte man checken, ob die dateiversion die nr. 4.20.9848.0
ist --> sie ist es ;o)
aber
- updatesuche: ein neues update verfügbar (kb936181) ;o((

- ich habe das update kb941833 runtergeladen und auf meiner platte
gespeichert (wird als update für das kb936181 auf vista-rechnern angeboten,
falls dieses probleme macht)
- ich hab es "als administrator" ausgeführt
- ich hab in der abfrage den button "repair" gewählt
- die installation lief (zumindest hab ich keine fehlermeldung bekommen),

- updateverlauf: update kb941833 taucht im updateverlauf gar nicht auf
- updatesuche: ein neues update verfügbar (kb936181) ;o((

- der dritte und letzte vorschlag geht davon aus, dass man zu beginn das
update kb936181 mittels "systemsteuerung/update/installierte updates"
deinstallieren soll,
aber das update taucht in der liste der installierten updates nicht auf
(obwohl im updateverlauf mehrfach steht "mit erfolg installiert"
- also war der weg nicht möglich

- zu guterletzt habe ich einen befehl gefunden, mit dem man die installation
des updates kb936181 mittels log überwachen kann.
- hab den befehl ausgeführt: jetzt hab ich hier ein langes logfile (mit dem
ich aber nix anfangen kann)
- btw: hab nach dem befejhl wieder neustart und updatesuche durchgeführt:
ein neues update verfügbar (kb936181) ;o((
