OS and reading registry
I can understand how the OS reads files that have a path that begins C:\ etc. But I can't understand how the OS reads the registry when it has forms such as HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Can someone explain.
In addition, what do the hexadecimal codes at the end of the path refer to?
Thanks
