Error 0x0000409

I recently installed a toolbar for my antivirus programme.

After installation, I found on scanning that the programme crashed with an error 0x0000409.

I uninstalled to toolbar, but on scanning I still get this error.

I think that something may have happened in the registry.

Can I repair this error? or is there another course of action.

Ps. OS is Vista Home Premium, 32 bit.
IE is ver 9
