USB drive can't be removed

I use a Zip USB Drive 60Mb for my CD collection. It worked fine with Windows
XP. However, when I try it with my new Windows Vista very frequently I can't
disconnect it after I finish. I close all the programs and even temporaly
disable the antivirus and still I get a message telling me something is
accesing the drive. Normally I have to exit Windows to safely remove it.
This doesn't happen in my other computer with Windows XP
