Problems with CDDVD SATA and IDE both not working error 39?

Hi,

I have vista SP1 installed and the cddvd (SATA TSST SH-203B) stopped working
so I purchased the latest liteon DH-20A4P IDE drive and it will not work
either. I have upgraded to latest Intel chip controller software (945G).
Will not install??

Any suggestions?
