Ghost Icon After Dragging and Dropping

Sometimes, when dragging an icon from the desktop to an email message, a
ghost image will stay on the screen on top of everything and not disappear
until logging out of windows.

Is there any way to correct this? I used windows key + tab to switch
between programs when this happened. It doesn't seem to happen as much with
alt+tab switching.

Hi,

I had the same problem.
Go to the desktop, grab the original icon (the real file) of the ghost icon
and drag it around on your desktop.
The ghost icon wil disappear.
