Intro - vista upgrader
Hey all. The name's Mike and I have a love/hate relationship with Microsoft. I really love XP, but Vista has been the thorn in my side.
I have long been a pc guy, since the 8088 first came out. At times, I find my self working long hours to fine tune my systems, and other times...well, I would like to site my rifle in on them! (But, I don't want to change the range it's currently set to.)
I just upgraded an XP Pro 32 system to Vista Ultimate, and have had some headaches, most notably, I cannot print, even with the correct driver installed (several times).
Which is one reason why I am here. I really like the extras that come with Pro/Ultimate systems,but I am not sure an upgrade was the right way to go. I am now considering a clean install of Win 7, unless I can be convinced otherwise.
I work on many a person's computers, which is one reason why I upgraded to Vista - to get more experience with it and help those people who are also ready to shoot their PC.
