Unable to start Cryptographic Services service
Hello Forum Friends,
I have a Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32 bit*Windows Update Services Service....problem.
Here I'm forwarding some of the messages I got after trying some of the fix they sent me from hp and Microsoft communities...
A. While running Microsoft fix it – 50202, I got a message; *Can't start Crypthographic Services-service (CRYPTSVC) Check if you have full Administrator rights to start this service( I'm the owner of this notebook).
So I had to stop Microsoft Fix it -50202.
B. After trying to have a look via Task Scheduler I got this message;
*The task image is corrupt or has been tampered with.mcuupdate.
Verification 100 % complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.
For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log
C.I tried Microsoft Security Essentials and got the message;
*unable to install Microsoft Security because an arror occured with the installation wizard
Errorcode; 0x80070643
Start de computer opnieuw op en probeer het opnieuw.
D.
every time I try to start my Windows Update i get the message;
*Windows could not start the Cryptographic Services service on Local Computer
Error 1079: The account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services in the same process.
E. At the end I tried Microsoft Fix it again and got a second new message;
*We’re sorry, but the program encountered an error trying to contact the server.
please try again later.
Error Code; 80072F8F

I hope you guys can help me out fixing this particular problem.

Regards
Sim.
