Greetings, can anyone help?
Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum. I found this site while googling information on an error I was receiving from my Windows DVD Maker.
I have edited my best friends wedding video in Windows Movie Maker, but when I try to burn the DVD the encoding (which takes forever) gets to about 52.7% and then tells me "Cannot Create DVD - Unspecified Error". I need to get this DVD burned as soon as possible and have no idea how I can fix the error which does not allow me to burn this DVD.
A little background, I'm using my Toshiba Laptop which I just bought in June of this year. The video was recorded onto a scan disk in .MTS format. I downloaded and paid for a subscription of AVS to convert the file from . MTS to .WMV so I could edit the video in Movie Maker. I got everything converted and imported into Movie Maker, and have sucessfully played the whole video with Titles and Effects through Windows Media Player. So I now have a finished video project but, like I said up top, when I send it to publish to DVD it encodes up to about 52.7% and then gives me the "Cannot Create DVD - Unspecified Error".
How can I get this DVD to burn? Anyone who has an idea of how I can fix this would be great. Thank you all.
