Hello
Hello All, I'm new here. I have recently bought an Acer Extensa Laptop and it has Vista Business pre installed and disks to convert it to XP if required.
I have used XP on my desktop and previous laptop so am quite familiar with that OS. I have heard many tales about how bad Vista is, so I thought I'd try it out for myself and see how it goes.
So far I quite like it, the only trouble I've had is with 'Permissions' when trying to update. I am working through the various bits of advice from Microsoft as well as information on this forum. It seems quite a few people have had similar problems. I'll persevere for a while and see if I can sort it out.
