never should have cleaned my hardrive
hello. first i would like to state for the record that i hate and fear computers. however, this makes me want to control them. now the problem: i have windows vista, IE 7. proir to my having the hardrive cleaned, i was able to click the contact link on any webpage i was browsing and the window that immediately opened was my yahoo mail with the recipients email already filled in. now that is not possible. all the googling in the world has only told me that vista won't allow that option, but i HAD the option for 2 years! i have the windows disk that was installed. but the pc geek [i mean young man] had to reinstall my programs manually. i am assuming that there was a program preinstalled on my pc from the factory that allowed me to do this. does anybody know what that might be? it is so bizzaar to keep reading that you can't set your yahoo email as a default when it was my default for all this time.
