no operating system found
Ok, I was playing a skermish game of Company of Herores, and paused the game, switched the tv to satillite, and started watching a show. Went back to the game about an hour latter. When I switched back to the computer, I seen that the screen saver had come on, and had locked up. What I seen was 2 car pictures fading in and out. I tried the Ctrl-Alt-Del. Nothing happened, tried the Esc button, still nothing, so I hit the reset button. Computer started up like normal, went through the Bios screens, and when it should have started the vista screen, I got this message,"no operating system found." I can start the recovery disk up, but I don't want to lose all mu stuff on the hard drive, let alone all the Windows updates I'd have to go through. Any help would greatly be appriciated.................Thanks......
