Glad to be here -- maybe I'll learn something
I am a longtime Windows user, and loved Win98SE, Win2000, and WinXP. And then along came Vista. Aero's pretty and all that, but I have been fighting a very very frustrating fight trying to get what I would consider a piece of cake to do on XP to happen on Vista as well. Hardly anything works the way I expect it to.
I am professional developer -- I write software for cryin' out loud -- and you'd think I could figure it out. But whatever. Here I am on this forum and hoping I can find out what I need to know.
