Getting the date to print on photos.

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to print a creation date on my photos to take to a photo kiosk to print. My cannon power shot S2 IS creates the meta data and it has the date. However, windows photo gallery does not allow meta data to be printed. I also have a Cannon IP6700D printer. I have Vista Home Premium. However, it is not a simple task to go from the camera to the printer with a date. If you have been successful using similar equipment, please list the steps.
