I looove this dam... ViSTA
Hi friends,
Kalimeo is more than two times 20 but not scared to learn new tricks.
At the moment I have a ton of questions and only ounces of answers.
I love this dam… VISTA.
Nothing really works right. All my work is much more difficult since I have joined the Vista time.
The major problem is working with my business programs.
As an engineer I have to modify dll and cfg files in a business program called ASPEN. After modifying (is simple just working with the Program like ASPEN) I find my saved dll’s and cfg files in a virtual space called “compatibility file”.
Sure the program cannot find it again and I have all the time the blank file (without any changes) when I start the program. This is frustrating. Yes I start the Program as administrator. Yes I changed the folders to full access.
Sending my updated files to the main office is impossible. The program sends always blank pages because the program can’t find the updates in the virtual storage.
Well I can’t believe that I am the only one with this kind of problems and hope to find some answers here.
Joe
