NAS problem on Vista Home Premium

Hello i have a big problem with my NAS on vista... it always asks for user name and password that do not coincide with any of my passwords or users. I read that samba 2.0 does not support something network related on vista and that i can change it from Network security policy but my windows doesn't have it installed(Vista Home Premium) is there another way to change my network type?
