New lost user
Hello everyone,
I am from NE USA, upgraded to Windows Vista from XP since my PC was totally infected when I tried to update it to XP SP3. Unfortunately, my PC a DELL Dimension 8400 though it passed the compatible test for VISTA it was not recommend by DELL.....too late. I am trying to not go back as I like what works in Vista. I spent hours with the Microsoft's techs to no avail. The PC works OK and had to give up only some older Tax programs which is OK but I can no longer view news videos or youtube without the constant pauses/buffering. Also I cannot find the additional languages templates for the keyboard to form the occasional symbols in Italian, French nor Spanish which I often time need.
In home network I also have my wife and grandson running on Windows XP and they are fine.
Anyway, hope to learn.....
