Glad to meet you all. I'm an Irishman born in China a long time ago. I found your forum in desperation after Access 2007 put an impenetrable iron ring around my Access 2.0 files. And I saw a post of yours that tells me there's a light at the end of the tunnel.

With reborn hope from Old Des.

Hello there,

just a coincidence, my name is Des also, and although 40 I dont consider myself old but that's probably not very objective of me,

anyway, I have not mastered Vista yet, and was wondering if you had? in which case I would oke to benefit from your expertise, and avoid annoying other users of this forum,

my problem is I cant play video on vista that I could play on xp, from external websites? have you by any chance encountered this problem?

tnx a mil for any help you can provide,

Youngish Des,

Dear Youngish Des,

I am Old Des because I am all of 85. Over the years, starting with DOS as my computer operating system and going through all the Windows versions up until and including XP, I've never had a problem with my PageMaker and Photoshop applications. Then Vista which gives me problems galore.

Sorry to disappoint, but I've never played video on my computer so I'm of no help to you.

Wish you the best of luck in your search for a solution,

Old Des
