I am a novice but have saved lots of old photos to My Pictures. Now I would like to burn them to a CD. Am wondering, is there a way to add music to it? I am an old XP-er, new to Vista. Thanks much.

Now For your query:
If you want music while viewing the photos, you can always use windows Movie Maker to combine the photos with your favorite song(s). if you have Microsoft Office, you can use Power Point instead of Movie maker, in the case that you don't want a video, but a presentation.

If you have a DVD maker (converts common video files into DVDs) you can use that to convert your Movie Maker product into a DVD and view it on yout DVD player for your TV.

If you wanted something else, then please clarify.

I will give it a try. I am working with still photos, not videos.

In movie maker you can make still photos transit like a presentation, but it turns it into a video with a bunch of photos appearing one after the other.
Or at least the Vista version can do this.
