I am Frustrated!!! Buying a Mac!!!!
Hello, My name is Mark in Houston and I have never been this frustrated in my life. VISTA has made my life miserable ever since I bought a new computer. Just about the time I think I have the issues straightened out, something else pops up. I have a small dvd/hdd/ camera that I have been trying to download for weeks. Most of the time the VISTA says it can't be downloaded. I finally found a way. Now I want to take the shots, freeze some of them and make still shots. I have purchased and loaded a lot of software and VISTA continues to tell me that it either can't download it or once I download it, will not recognize it. It tells me to either allow them to search for a software that will open it or find one that is installed in the computer. I tried to open the downloaded files from Aquafadas (which I found in a link from this forum) and VISTA told me that it could not open it because it had a .dmg extention. So, I let Microsoft go on line to find a product that would fix it. The first one on the list was RegCur, and I downloaded it. But, it still did not solve the issue.
Does anyone have a suggestion? I may go back to old computer with XP...I never had this manny issues with it.
Please respond. Thanks in advance. Mark
