I have a "Vista Headache"
Hello folks,
I am trying to get shortcut icons from visited websites on my desktop. I was able to do it once, but now I can't. If anyone knows how to do this in Vista, PLEASE help! I had no problem in XP, I just put them in my favorites, and then moved them to the desktop.
TIA,
Gianna in MA

Hi Gianna

welcome to the vistaheads forum :-) Please feel free to have a browse about to familiarise yourself with the site, make a post maybe or even help someone out with a problem if you can! Either way, good to have you aboard, if you submit your problem in vista general or start a new thread in the news groups you will reach a wider audience and a better chance of getting problems resolved, in the meantime copy the url> right click your desktop>select new, then shortcut>paste url into empty box and name it.... hope this helps Thank you in advance for your future input,

Regards,

Paul
