'Wireless authentication failed because of a timeout'

Hi all

I'm aware this is a common problem and there are already some related threads, but so far I've had no luck trying others' solutions so..

The usual deal - says it cannot connect, when I 'diagnose the problem' it reads "Wireless authentication failed because of a timeout". It is not an ISP problem as other wireless devices have no trouble connecting.

I have changed the SSIP and security key, changed the security settings from WEP to TKIP, checked that the driver is updated ('the best driver software for your device is already installed)..no luck. I'm really at a loss with this kind of thing so any advice would be very appreciated.

Just wondering if you had any luck with your issue above? I am having the same issue, but I am not at all computer literate - I have no idea where to find the things you checked any changed. Any advise?

Its a common issue, me too have the same problem, i think you have to go to customer service center.
