help with igoogle

hi, I have set my homepage to igoogle. each time I close internet explorer and then reopen it , it is making me sign in again. I used the feature stay signed in but I am not able to load my homepage and sign in at the same time. since I use google for searching the net, ( the igoogle just getting today) I am finding myself signing in nearly everytime I try to seach from a state of not surfing the internet, what a pain. please know how to fix this issue.
