Unable to connect to the internet - can anyone help please
Hi, could anyone help.
We have 2 PCs. 1 vista and 1 xp. both are connected to virgin broadband via a modem and a linksys router. The xp connects to the Internet fine but the vista is unable to connect to the Internet.
I have tried connecting directly, ie without the router, i have changed the Ethernet cable and checked that all wires are connected properly but I still can't connect.
I have had the pc and broadband about 15 months and haven't had a problem before. All was working fine last night and the problem started this morning.
I haven't downloaded any files or updates.
Any ideas anyone? Please supply any info in very basic instructions we are not very pc literate!!
