dns server error on windows live spaces

Hi can anyone throw any light on this infuriating problem....I can access windows live....hotmail, my home and profile pages but anywhere else.... forget it google chrome tells me it is a broken link and IE7 tells me there is a DNS server error....
I am running Vista home premium have had access before with no problems haven't changed my settings or my ISP My kids on the same network have the same problem as does a neighbour.....we are in Tunisia North Africa but have been for 4years without any of these issues....
Any ideas as to why or how this happened or ho to resolve it will be very much appreciated......I need to access my blog so my extended family can keep up with us without the need for expensive and repetitive calls,
