Did vistax64 update, now internet wont work

Hello,

my problem is that while my internet connection is shown as stable, I can't connect to the internet, can't go on messenger, can't connect to Steam...etc...etc It was working fine up until last night when I shut down my computer and Vista automatically did an update. I have NOD32 anti virus running in the background, and I'm using Vista 64 bit Home basic edition.
