limited connectivity problem using dial up

Hello All, please i av been trying to connect to the internet using dial up connection on my laptop running windows vista OS. The dial up profile will show connected. u will see the assigned IP address using ipconfig/all. but the network icon on the taskbar will display limited connectivity and i can't connect.

PLS HELP
