I have an ATT brodband card and a total of 3 laptops. For a while now I have been using the card on Laptop1 (Vista Ultimate SP1), and have been using Laptop2 (XP Pro SP2). I have used for gaming for about 2 months now. No complaints been working awesome.
That all stopped about monday. Laptop1 gets full internet, and laptop2 & 3 only gets google and ibm.com, and godaddy.com if you wait long enough for everything to load.
Cant think of any changes and i found another person with same experience i am having when i google searched this problem. So far I have not found an answer, and its leading me to want to shoot the computers.
But hey guess what, We just discovered the problem, It seems we recently aquired vista's Service Pack 1, which boasts about making the adhoc better..Well we found out otherwise and have quickly removed the SP1,.. guess what happened??? Yepp i got my adhoc back and all computers are back to browsing.!!!
I hope this reaches those that have endured this same problem when you are sharing your internet connection from vista for other computers!
