Vista Connectivity to Networks, Internet
Hello all,
I've been having a problem with Vista for quite some time. I'll be trying to access a wireless network, and it will allow me to connect to the network, see other computers on the network, but won't allow me to connect to the internet. Restarting usually solved the problem.
However, it escalated today. Now, even when I am hard-wired into the network, it will not allow me to access the internet, even though it will let me see other computers in the network. I tried restarting the computer, refreshing and renewing my ip address, and turning off the firewall. It calls the network and "unknown network", but even when it chooses to recognize the network, it doesn't allow internet connections. Macs and PCs with XP aren't having this problem on the network, it appears to be Vista specific. Any help would be deeply appreciated!
