I'm trying to run ASP on my Win Vista Home Basic and I get the following error when running the localhost.
Server Error in Application "Default Web Site"

HTTP Error 404.4 - Not Found
Description: The resource you are looking for does not have a handler associated with it.

Error Code: 0x80070002

Notification: MapRequestHandler

Module: IIS Web Core

Requested URL: cPanel®

Physical Path: C:\inetpub\wwwroot

Logon User: Anonymous

Logon Method: Anonymous

Handler: Not yet determined

Most likely causes:

The file extension for the requested URL does not have a handler configured to process the request on the Web server.

I have turned ALL the windows features ON under Internet Information Services but still it does not work.
Please help me.

Hi Avogadro,

I am afraid that you will not be able to run ASP on a Vista Home Basic PC with the IIS installed.

IIS is only installed to provide functionality for WCF.

You will have to upgrade to a higher version of Vista like Ultimate.

Maybe see if there is another Web Server available that will run on Vista Home Basic,
